Dear readers,
This edition of the THOR Newsletter highlights a year of progress, driven by scientific advances, strong collaboration, and growing visibility across the European battery innovation landscape.
Following earlier milestone, including the first peer-reviewed publication, consortium meetings, and TwinBATT cluster activities, THOR continues to build momentum. Most recently, the first article authored by THOR partners was published in Innovation News Network, showcasing the project’s work on predictive digital twins and advanced battery modelling.
Also, THOR and the TwinBATT Cluster shared insights on digital battery testing and AI-powered development at Battery Innovation Days, while consortium partners met in Grenoble for the General Assembly, hosted by CEA. The year also closed with the release of the TwinBATT video booster, presenting the collaboration between THOR, FASTEST, AccCellBat and DigiBatt.
Looking ahead, THOR will participate in the 9th RTR Conference in Brussels (10–12 February 2026), presenting its Digital Twin approach to accelerating battery development and reducing physical testing.
THOR is ready to move forward with exciting updates. Follow us on Mastodon and LinkedIn for the latest results.
Warm regards, The THOR Project Team |
