THOR invited to present at the 2026 Road Transport Research conference

THOR has been invited to participate in the 9th edition of the Conference on Results from Road Transport Research (RTR) Conference, taking place in Brussels from 10 to 12 February 2026. The event is expected to gather over 500 participants from across Europe.

The RTR Conference is a key platform showcasing the achievements and impacts of EU-funded and Horizon Europe projects in road transport. It offers a comprehensive overview of research progress in strategic areas such as Green Vehicles, Urban Mobility, Logistics, Intelligent Transport Systems, Safety, Automated Road Transport, and Batteries.

At the conference, THOR will present its innovative work on accelerating battery development through a Digital Twin tool that simulates battery behavior. By reducing costly and time-consuming physical testing, THOR aims to shorten development cycles, cut the number of required tests, and foster innovation in both mobility and stationary battery applications.

THOR’s participation highlights its contribution to advancing sustainable, efficient, and competitive battery technologies within the European research landscape.
